.......After taking a reasonable amount of time to research various options, we spotted Bay Leisure's Weinsberg Caraone on Trade Me. This appeared to have the ideal layout for us and the solid construction yet comparatively light weight appealed. Upon calling Mike he advised the advertised  unit has been sold that morning, however he was delivering it and could make a detour to show us  the unit in the flesh. Once we saw it, we ordered one for ourselves. After it arrived we discovered the battery wasn't charging and the issue turned out to be a dud  smart-charger. Mike supplied a replacement without question.

We have now set the caravan up for freedom camping, with the addition of on-board waste tank and solar charging, and have had many weekends away - from Horowhenua to Hawkes Bay to Taranaki to Wairarapa, plus 10 days in South Island. At times, we've encountered some pretty nasty winds, but the caravan has been great to tow and we havn't yet had to take shelter en route.

Hello Mike and Kamila.

We would like to thank you for this great caravan.

We had few trips and spent more time enjoying holidays before, with tent, more preparation time (loading-unloading-setting up-loading and unloading again) so I can tell about 8 hours of my time is spared for fun :) 

The towing is easy and feeling absolutely comfortable in tight spots (driveways and within city).  There are more planed trips for this summer and skiing trip for winter (maybe)

As we live in the South Island naturally we were not keen on making such a large purchase without first looking at the caravan, so once we had decided to make the trip North to view it Michael went that extra mile, picking me up from the airport and dropping me back.

When we decided to purchase, the offer was made to transport the caravan to Wellington Ferry Terminal at no extra cost.
